Being a guest on our farm means experiencing the Black Forest - originally and authentically - both inside and outside, because with our four nature guest rooms, the spacious holiday apartment and the event and seminar room we have already brought nature into the house. Our almost 100-year-old Black Forest farm is nestled in the exceptionally beautiful Sulzbach high valley. Here you breathe pure Black Forest air at an altitude of 700 meters, enjoy our own fresh spring water directly from the well in front of the house and experience honest and genuine hospitality. The Fehrenbacherhof has been carefully and sustainably developed by us personally over the past years into a small guesthouse, which we lead with passion and love. Old and new combined with each other result in a perfect symbiosis, because "feel good" is not just a word for us. The energy of our rooms creates warmth and trust. And you will feel the power in it. The Fehrenbacherhof has a four-star holiday home of about 80 sqm as well as the nature guest rooms Boschelblick, Brunnentrog and Sandstein. The mud walls screen off electrosmog and ensure a healthy room climate. Experience the cosy warmth of the wall heating in the natural guest room and enjoy our delicious breakfast with our own and regional products in the old cow shed. All our new guest rooms with natural stone bathrooms on the old hay stage have a large balcony with access to the outdoors and are equipped with double bed, sitting area with two chairs, small desk, TV, telephone, LAN and WLAN.

Pure nature awaits you: splendid hiking trails and mountain bike trails await you in the immediate vicinity of our farm and invite you to discover the area around the Sulzbach valley on short and long tours. A Waldmännleweg informs about our native flora and fauna. A fallow deer enclosure invites you to linger and not far away, relax on the newly created yoga trail in the middle of nature. Visit the old Mooswald mill and the Kapfhäusle cultural monument in the Sulzbachtal landscape conservation area or explore the area with a two-day tour on the new Lauterbacher hiking trail. Leisure time at the Fehrenbacherhof - that also means: space for children to play and romp, splashing in the pool, feeding our rabbits, looking for eggs or pampering our cats Sally and Nelly. The list can be continued almost endlessly with table tennis games, kicking on the football field, building sandcastles, swings, slides, gymnastics and much more.

Our farm is about two kilometres away from the climatic health resort Lauterbach and lies in a sunny high valley in the middle of the Black Forest. The best way to reach us is via the A5 (Karlsruhe - Basel) or the A81 (Stuttgart - Singen). From Lauterbach drive in the centre of the village towards Sulzbach/Moosenmättle. 400 metres after leaving the town, turn right into Talweg. Observe the sign "Ferien auf dem Fehrenbacherhof" on your arrival! From there the second street on the left (Wacholderweg) leads directly to our farm.
