About the accommodation
The Rügener Gutshaus Grubnow is located near Neuenkirchen, a small village between the Lebbin Bodden and Lake Tetzitz. Our estate was extensively renovated in 2005 and is a protected monument. The 10,000-square-metre garden with its idyllic location directly on the water's edge impresses with its idyllic location and has a boat and bathing jetty that can be used by our guests at any time. Due to the size of the garden, it offers enough space for our quiet holidaymakers, who can relax on our deck chairs or the large viewing terrace at the reed belt. But also our active guests and families with children are well looked after. During the summer season (beginning of May to beginning of November) our boats can be rented free of charge. For the little adventurers there is also a play corner with sandbox, swings and soccer goals.
Accommodation
Our Gutshaus Grubnow offers eight holiday apartments and a holiday home, which are lovingly furnished to high standards and offer a fantastic view of the Lebbin Bodden's waters and the surrounding idyllic landscape. Our guests can use our large fireplace and library room as well as our sauna and the 10,000 square meter garden on which our estate is located at any time. Four of the eight apartments and the holiday home have their own terrace or a spacious balcony. All accommodations are equipped with a modern open kitchen with dishwasher, cooker and oven. In addition, there is a television with DVD player in all apartments. A central fax machine and washing machines in the laundry room can be used at any time. In the manor house and the shed you can use our free W-LAN. On your arrival the apartments are equipped with fresh bed linen, towels and tea towels.
Surroundings and activites
Our property, which is situated directly at the nature reserve and the surrounding area, offers various leisure activities for our guests. The large garden offers plenty of opportunities for sunbathing and resting, but also offers plenty of space for our adventurous children, together with the playground. The 80-square-metre sun terrace on the reed belt offers another retreat in the fresh air. In addition, our secluded barbecue areas can be used at any time for a common BBQ, as well as the two rowing boats which are located on our private jetty. In case of bad weather you can relax in our fireplace room with library or in our own sauna. Furthermore, you can improve your handicap on a nearby 18-hole golf course or explore the surroundings on horseback. For nature lovers there are countless hiking and cycling tours or guided tours through the Lebbiner Bodden Nature Reserve.
Location and getting around
Coming from Stralsund drive over the Rügenbrücke bridge in the direction of Bergen and turn left there towards Gingst. Before Gingst turn right in the direction of Wittow/Schaprode and after about two kilometres turn right in the direction of Neuenkirchen. Cross Neuenkirchen until you see the signpost to Grubnow about 200 metres after leaving Neuenkirchen. Follow the concrete road for about one kilometre until it turns sharply to the right. Here you will find a field stone, where you turn left to Gut Grubnow.
Take the train to Bergen and take the bus. With a one-time change you can get to the Moor stop at the Grubnow junction, which is about one and a half kilometres away.
