At the end of the world and then turn off twice - there lies the Hottenlocher Hof, nestled in a gentle hilly landscape between the Danube, Lake Constance and Hegau. Not far from the small town of Stockach, three families together with two apprentices form the Hottenloch court community and manage the farm and its 140 hectares of land according to the guidelines of the Demeter Association. Part of this area consists of orchards, which also serve as pasture for our animals. At the heart of our business is our 45 head herd of dairy cattle, whose milk is processed into cheese by hand in our own dairy. For our own breeding and for the production of sausage and meat products we also keep about 60 calves or young cattle and fattening animals. In addition, pigs, sheep, chickens, ducks and ponies have their homes at the Hottenloch farm. The electricity and heat for the entire farm is supplied by a small biogas plant and two photovoltaic plants.

Our apartments for four to six persons are located on the second floor of our new house. From the spacious balcony you can enjoy the view to the Swiss Alps. The apartments have two bedrooms, a spacious living and dining room with modern kitchenette, bathroom, toilet and a balcony. An additional room with a separate bathroom can be rented on request. Instead of a television, books and games are available. We have attached great importance to ecological materials during construction and furnishing, and hope to have created an atmosphere in which our guests can feel completely at home. If you need an additional cot, please contact us. We ask our guests to smoke only on the balcony or outdoors. In front of the house there is a playground with barbecue and sitting area.

The Hottenlocher Hof is a lively and versatile organic farm. If you would like to get an impression of how we try to make a modern business human, animal and environmental friendly, you are cordially invited to take part in the farm events: We are happy about every interested guest and every helping hand. The Hottenlocher Hof is also a good starting point for great excursions: directly from here you can go hiking or cycling. But also bathing holidays are possible with us: Lake Constance and other waters as well as a great fun pool or beautiful thermal baths in the surrounding area make it possible. If you want to get a whiff of the city, you can enjoy the charm of Überlingen or Radolfzell or explore Constance, the Venice on Lake Constance. The farm museum in Neuhausen ob Eck or the Lake Dwelling Museum in Unteruldingen, the castles Sigmaringen and Salem or the Zeppelin Museum in Friedrichshafen offer cultural events for young and old.

The fastest way to reach Hottenbacher Hof by car is via the A 81 motorway, with the Stockach-Ost and Stockach-West exits only eleven kilometres from the Hof. The nearest train station is in Stockach, about eight kilometres from the Hottenbacher Hof. The nearest bus stop to Stockach is about half an hour's walk from the farm.
