The often absolute silence invites relaxation of the soul and spirit. The nearby Mecklenburg Lake District is the largest contiguous lake district in Germany and those who go on a voyage of discovery will find many time-honoured towns and villages, such as the "Ackerbürgerstadt" Röbel/Müritz. Not far from the accommodation there is also the Müritz National Park. Wide forests, clear lakes and fascinating moors invite you to switch off in the midst of nature and recharge your batteries.
The large park-like garden with a small pond and various garden areas is available for all guests. Lying by the pond in the sun, reading a book, drinking a good wine or a real cappuccino and enjoying the silence - all this is comfortably possible in the Alte Ziegelei. But also in other respects, our lodging offers unique experiences that will ensure an unforgettable stay: thousands of wild geese and cranes move directly over the old brickworks in autumn.
To explore the region by bike, guests can use two bicycles free of charge. Pictures can be viewed and purchased in the Alte Ziegelei gallery. If you wish, the refrigerator is filled with a shopping cart for the first days of your stay. Many fine wines of wine, beer, water or home-made apple juice are available for you in our small shop at any time of the day or night.
