Ready for an authentic, rural, sustainable Tuscan lifestyle experience? The deer graze the fields near the house, you can hear wild boars grunting and the crickets singing. Healthy food, good wine, friendly chatter... is there anything better than this? The farm is nestled in the hills between Chianti and Valdarno Superiore in the middle of the beautiful Tuscan countryside, just half an hour from Florence. At the farm we use renewable energy only: the wood gives us heating, the sun provides us with hot water and the energy necessary to satisfy the house needs. We are under the standards of Eco- Bio Tourism and all the food products are certified organic. We cultivate the land according to the organic agriculture criteria, maintaining its fertility, enhancing its biodiversity. Guests can harvest freely in our vegetable garden, come and discover the real taste of food !

It is a 18th century farmhouse divided into 4 self-catering apartments renovated in 2012 using green building materials. All the apartments have indipendent entrance , wifi, kitchen and a reserved area in the garden with table, chairs, lounge chairs and barbecue. The apartment is equipped with all you need to cook including salt, sugar, tea and coffee. At the farm you can find local organic food on sale. In case you don’ feel like preparing food there are many good and also cheap restaurants near us. Most of them serve the real Tuscan food, you should try the typical Tbone steak “Fiorentina” if you eat meat or the “Ribollita” soup if you are vegan/vegetarian.. On demand (NOT included in the price- 30euro) we can provide you with a rich basket with our or local organic products for breakfast: homemade sourdough bread, homemade jam, our honey, yogurt, fresh fruit, cereals , organic apple juice, muesli, eggs (if available from our chickens) and cow/veg milk.

You can visit Florence with the special tips we give you; you can explore the beautiful Chianti where you can try a wine tasting and get lost in its small gorgeous villages and castles surrounded by Medieval walls; visit the old and suggestive churches (Pievi) of Valdarno out of the crowded big towns; walkers can discover many trekking paths on the surrounding hills and they’ll be surprised of the wild animals they may meet walking at night or early in the morning … ;you can have a nice class to learn cooking like an Italian and to learn more awareness on quality food; or just relax in the outdoor whirlpool with view that can be heated in spring/fall/winter. If you are a shopping lover , we are at few chilometers from "Dolce & Gabbana" outlet and the famous outlet "the Mall" where you can find the top fashion brands at lower price. Anyway in the apartment you will find our manual with all the details on activities you can do.

A car is needed since nearest shops and restaurants are at 7 km from the farm; we help guests who don't want to rent a car, offering free rides from/to the nearest train station (Incisa train station 45 min from Florence central train station) and stores the day of check in and check out . Other rides will be charged 10 euro. Florence, is just 27 Km from us, Arezzo, Pisa, Lucca, Siena, San Gimignano are close as well and all reachable in a day trip. But if you are tired of hot cities full of tourists, we can suggest some itineraries out of the beaten path where you can discover gorgeous small Medieval hamlets and old parish churches.
