Here you will find a real gem with many meadows, fields and paddocks in the immediate vicinity. Here you can relax and enjoy a quiet holiday all year round in the beautiful countryside of the Black Forest, whether as an active holiday or a family holiday. The holiday home Landhaus Seewald has been extensively renovated and equipped with optimal insulation and a wood pellet heating system for the sake of our environment and our home.
Accommodation
A beautifully renovated half-timbered house, converted into a place of well-being and relaxation. Enjoy nature away from everyday life, stress and the hectic pace. Here, the children can still play undisturbed in the large garden on the 2,000 square meter property while you can enjoy the sun and the view of the Black Forest in the deck chair. In summer the garden invites you to barbecue and after strenuous excursions you can enjoy the outdoor sauna with space for up to eight people or relax in the whirlpool. On 330 square metres of living space, you will be greeted by the sun's rays in the morning as you look out of the window at the meadows, pastures and fields and conjure up a smile on your face. The special feature of Landhaus Seewald is the unusually generous space on a total of four floors and the large garden with a children's playground with sandbox, swing and play tower as well as a lot of old trees.
Surroundings and activites
Our holiday home is located in Seewald-Schernbach, in the middle of the Northern Black Forest on a plateau, 700 meters above sea level. Numerous leisure activities in summer and winter offer the best conditions for a varied holiday for young and old. In summer, the Nagoldtalsperre dam with water sports and swimming facilities, two kilometres away, or the ore mine three kilometres away, invite you to water fun and in winter there are 25 kilometres of cross-country skiing trails around Seewald for winter sports enthusiasts. The summer toboggan run Enzklösterle is only 10 minutes away and the Wildbader Sommerbahn, an adventure golf course, a tree-top path, the Schwarzwaldhochstraße and much more are waiting to be discovered by you. From spring to autumn, the region is also ideal for hiking, cycling and mountain bike tours.
Location and getting around
If you are planning your journey by car, you can reach us via the A5 and A81 motorways, for example: the Bühl and Achern exits of the A5 are 54 kilometres away from Landhaus Seewald, while the Horb am Neckar and Rottenburg exits of the A81 are 36 and 38 kilometres respectively.
Connections to the railway network can be found, for example, at the S-Bahn station Klostereichenbach, about twelve kilometres away, as well as at the regional stations Dornstetten (15 kilometres away) and Freudenstadt Hauptbahnhof (18 kilometres away). From Freudenstädter Stadtbahnhof (S-Bahn) there is a bus connection to Schernbach. The bus stop is about 200 metres from the cottage.
