About the accommodation
In the Abruzzo region, surrounded by the azure blue Adriatic Sea, with a beautiful view over the Apennine Mountains, lies a still pristine part of Italy.
In unspoilt nature between green hills with old olive trees, vineyards, narrow rivers and small country lanes, the Italians still live as they did 50 years ago. Here in the Abruzzo region, in the province of Pescara, Italy's greenest region, time seems to have stood still.
In accordance with old traditions and in all tranquillity, the most delicious wines and Pecorino are produced here and the best olive oil is pressed. Pure Italy!
In the spring of 2005 we left the Netherlands for this beautiful area. In the municipality of Penne we discovered our dream: Rocca di Sotto.
In the small village of Roccafinadamo, at the foot of the Gran-Sasso National Park, in the valley at the end of a small path, you will find our historical, rustic farm.
Accommodation
On the 10 hectare site with a large olive grove with centuries-old olive trees and an organic vegetable garden there is a spacious terraced camping site with 17 grass pitches for a maximum of 40 people.
So it is possible to camp in peace and quiet, in the middle of nature small but fine.
In addition, we can offer you a stay in our already furnished Waard tents or in one of our log cabins, so that you can enjoy the beautiful area completely relaxed.
For the first time this season our trailer on the Adriatic Sea is available to you.
