Moin, moin and welcome to Hockmannshof at the top of Northern Germany or, to be more precise, to Humptrup on the North Sea! Sit back and relax and enjoy your holiday on our holiday farm in Schleswig-Holstein. Here you will experience not only pure nature, but also agriculture in its more original facets. Immerse yourself in the everyday life of a farm while you help feed our outdoor pigs or threshing grain, for example. Take exciting day trips to the Wadden Sea, across the Danish border or to Flensburg or Glücksburg on the Baltic Sea. Here at the Hockmannshof on the North Sea coast there is something for everyone for a perfect North Sea holiday. We are constantly striving to keep our farm in the traditional sense with organic asparagus and many animals in free range without the use of chemicals and pesticides. For this reason, we have also set the highest standards in the construction of our holiday apartments and, if possible, used natural building materials.

Sit back and relax in one of our numerous holiday apartments on the North Sea! All our apartments have a balcony or terrace, which means that you can start the day with the first rays of sunshine in the morning. All our apartments are self built and furnished in rural chic, with special attention to natural building materials and high ecological standards. Each apartment has a fully equipped kitchenette, a bathroom with shower or bathtub and free WLAN. Dogs are welcome in our holiday flats or holiday home on the North Sea. After all, what would a perfect shore leave be without our four-legged friends? With its fenced terraces and gardens, we offer you not only the ideal accommodation for four paws, but also more than enough space for long walks with your dogs.

Due to the great location of our farm you can make wonderful excursions from your holiday apartment. The Danish border is only a stone's throw away and so you can reach Tøndern for example within 15 minutes. Here you can not only do a little shopping, but also spend some cosy hours in one of the many cafés. You're more interested in the beach? Then why not take a trip to Rømø - Denmark's southernmost North Sea island can also be reached quickly and easily from Hockmannshof. Here you will experience sandy beaches as far as the eye can see. You can try out various water sports or take a relaxing walk through the dunes and forests. From here you can take the ferry to Sylt and return by car train to Niebüll on the north Frisian mainland. If you would like to explore the area around Humptrup by bike, we are happy to provide you with bicycles for free.

You can reach us by car on the A7 motorway, leave it at the Harrislee exit and take the B199 to Leck and then continue on the B5 towards Süderlügum. Turn left into Bahnhofsstraße in the direction of Humptrup. After reaching Humptrup turn right into Grellsbüller Straße and after a short while you will see the courtyard on the right. The nearest train station is in Süderlügum, less than two kilometres away. The nearest major railway station is Niebüll. We would be happy to pick you up here by appointment. It is also possible to rent an electric car waiting for you on the farm while we pick you up at Niebüll station.
