The small Uhlenköper camp on the edge of the heathland town of Uelzen offers you the finest eco-camping. Here everyone finds his favourite place: It is cosy and comfortable for a longer stay, but also practical and easy for a short stopover with bicycle or motorhome. While the grown-ups enjoy a cup of coffee on the sunny terrace, the little guests can romp in the swimming pool, on the playground or by the brook. The little ones will also have a lot of fun with nature and animals on our course. It is important for us to offer holidays on a campsite that offers nature-friendly tourism. But what does that mean and how does it work? With an ecological management, we ensure that you can enjoy nature in a natural way and experience nature unspoiled and sustainable. In the long term, we also want to make a contribution to safeguarding the livelihoods of present and future generations through eco-camping.

We offer you a wide range of accommodation options: In addition to the beautiful, car-free tent meadow, there are also holiday pitches for caravans and campers, which are divided into comfortable groups. Furthermore, we also offer holidays in a very special kind of holiday home: The eco-mobile home is built in biological construction and meets modern demands for a sustainable holiday. If you are more interested in adventure camping, you can stay in our tepee: In the middle a campfire flickers and around it there is sleeping bag cosiness while large tent walls protect against the cold night. We also offer you the possibility to stay overnight in our snooze-bin. Experience an incomparable sleeping experience in this unusual camping cask. The campsite has a health food shop and a snack bar. WLAN can be used all over the site for a fee via a prepaid system, washing machine and dryer are available in the sanitary area.

The Uhlenköper-Camp is the ideal starting point for canoe trips, bicycle tours, tree-climbing adventures or excursions into the surrounding countryside. In addition to guided tours, you can also rent our canoes and start on your own. We bring the boats to the entry point and pick them up at the destination of the trip. We plan the route together with you and provide you with the necessary accessories. The heathland is also a bicycle country - this is especially true for us, as the Uhlenköper Camp is located directly on the Lüneburger Heide-Radweg. If you don't bring your own bicycles, you can rent them from us. For the selection of suitable routes we have extensive maps available. You can also have a refreshing swim in our outdoor swimming pool or play table tennis, table soccer, tennis or on the football pitch. The campsite also has a great natural playground for the youngest guests. In the city centre of Uelzen there are just over six kilometres from the campsite.

Uelzen is situated in the middle of one of the largest areas of Germany that is not accessible by motorways. Nevertheless, you can still reach us easily by car, as four federal highways (B4, B71, B191, B493) meet in Uelzen from all directions, via which the A2, A7, A14 or A24 can be reached. The world-famous Hundertwasser railway station is about six kilometres away. There are buses to the bus stop Westerweyhe, Altes Dorf, which is only 300 meters away from our campsite.
