Here you can feel the warmth radiating from the straw with all your senses. While our cat is hiding behind the raspberry bush, you can hear the buzzing of our tractor on the field in the distance. Here there is a farm feeling everywhere and children can still be children, discover new things, explore values and experience animals. Our cosy holiday home with apartments and holiday flats in Bavaria is ideal for family celebrations, fellowship meetings, holidays or in short for travel groups of all kinds up to 25 persons. On our farm in the heart of Bavaria you will find five cosy holiday apartments and another three rooms. We want our guests to feel cared for all around us and especially our little guests are close to our hearts. That's why at the Ferienhof Ritzer there are also a variety of activities to ensure that for children the holiday with us will be a unique experience, of which they can report for a long time to come. For example, they can take their stable diploma with us, which they can proudly show to their friends after the holiday. Guests of all ages can learn for free what kind of small and large jobs are required on a farm.

Alone on our farm there is a lot of business to do, which makes children's hearts beat faster: Cows and calves feeding and milking, gazing at goats, cats and kittens for lovers, rabbits for petting, ponies for riding, tractor driving and much more. But there is also a lot to discover around the farm: The granite country of the Bavarian Forest stretches directly in front of our courtyard door and the three-river town of Passau can also be reached from our farm in no time at all. The Bavarian Forest offers you wide valleys, picturesque lakes that invite you to swim and mystical high moors and create the perfect setting for adventurous hikes and bicycle tours or extensive walks to enjoy nature. Further highlights await you at the open-air museum Finsterau, the big Arber with its gondola lift and many ways to crawl, a treetop path or the Haus am Strom, an exciting nature experience centre.

You can reach us by car by leaving the A3 motorway at Aicha vorm Wald and driving in the direction of Freyung. Drive to Hutthurm and from there continue in the direction of Büchlberg, where you turn off in the direction of Thyrnau. After a short time you will see a signpost to Mitterbrünst. Follow this road and you will reach us after a few hundred meters. If you travel by train, it is advisable to travel as far as Passau. From there you can get to Mitterbrünst by bus.
