About the accommodation
Do you need rest on holiday?
Do you want your children to stream around without fear and have enough fun nearby? Then discover the Landidyll Hohendorf for your holiday, because the Landidyll Hohendorf is a holiday paradise for the whole family!
We offer you three holiday apartments, which the big and the small ones like. They are located in a rural idyll and yet many attractions are within easy reach. Feel free to ask us about the countless excursion possibilities, for example in the Spreewald. Enjoy the sun on the south terrace, the birdsong in the spacious garden plot or the cosy warmth in our sauna. You can also make use of our massage offer or rent our bicycles to explore the green surroundings. The idyllic village of Hohendorf offers you all this and much more.
The building of the country idyll Hohendorf is an approximately 100 year old manor barn, which was built on a foundation of field stones in half-timbered construction.
In the lovingly renovated barn there are three comfortable holiday apartments: Wild poppy, farmer's rose and larkspur. The holiday flats are located in a more than 100 years old half-timbered barn, which has been extensively restored and largely preserved. All furniture is made of pine wood, the living rooms have a cork floor and the bath tub has a stoneware covering.
The front part of the spacious property has been converted into a farmer's garden. Well-known and less well-known flowers and herbs welcome the guests here from spring to autumn with their variety of flowers. Behind the house there is a large meadow, which merges into the open nature. There is also a barbecue area for our guests, a terrace with a small pond and our little guests are always happy about our rabbits.
Surroundings and activites
Enjoy your holiday on the grounds of the country idyll Hohendorf, in the surroundings with long walks through nature or find variety on a trip by car, bicycle or inline skates. Every day there is something interesting in or around Hohendorf, no matter if you are travelling with the whole family or without children. The village centre of Hohendorf has a medieval character and is listed as a ground monument on the list of monuments in Brandenburg. Also worth seeing is the Schwedenstein, a relic of the Thirty Years War.
In the apartments there is an information folder with excursion tips and in the winter garden there is always a small collection of flyers and a map of the surrounding area. It doesn't matter whether you prefer to be on a sporty holiday, whether you are interested in art and culture or just want to relax in nature: There is something for every taste.
Location and getting around
You can reach us by car via motorway A13 (exit Staakow or Freiwalde). After leaving the motorway, continue in the direction of Golßen and then via Altgolßen and Sellendorf to Hohendorf. Shortly after entering Hohendorf you will see the village of Landidyll Hohendorf on your left.
The nearest train station is in Golßen and is about five kilometres away. Due to the rarely used buses between the train station and Hohendorf we recommend you to take a taxi from Golßen.
