Our house, with its idyllic natural garden and wonderful mountain panorama, is beautifully situated in a very quiet but central location. It is also an ideal starting point for many interesting excursions: restaurants, shops, the outdoor swimming pool, the guest house and various cross-country skiing trails are within easy walking distance. Already in the morning we spoil you with a large vegetarian breakfast buffet of organic ingredients and many homemade delicacies. The use of ecological cleaning agents and detergents has been a matter of course for years, and the whole house is supplied with revitalised water and green energy in the power lines according to Grander technology. Our house has been a non-smoking house since 2001 and since 2003 the breakfast ingredients from organic farming or homemade herbs and fruits of the garden are also available.

The ten rooms of our feel-good house are comfortably and individually furnished. We renovate them according to building biology principles and do our best to make sure that you feel safe and in good hands with us. Here you can sleep on buckwheat and silk for a good reason: Buckwheat pillows stabilise blood pressure, increase resistance to colds, relieve tooth, ear and headaches, migraine, insomnia and relieve tension in the neck and shoulder area. Quilts made of pure silk insulate equally well against heat and cold despite their very low weight, have a high self-cleaning power and promote a healthy sleep, not least because of their shielding effect against radiation of all kinds. When you arrive, we will put a beautiful dream under your pillow and surprise you with a little bedtime treat.

Our house is beautifully situated and offers you a magnificent mountain view. It is located halfway between Berchtesgaden and the world-famous Königssee lake and is situated above the centre of Schönau, quiet but still central. It is surrounded by 2,000 square meters of idyllic natural garden and right next to the property you will find a small graveyard for brine breathing and a Kneipp facility for free use. The open-air swimming pool and the cross-country ski run, each about 800 metres away, invite you to take part in sporting activities. Possibilities for skiing are less than three kilometres away. After Berchtesgaden and to the Königssee there are two and a half kilometres each, to the Berchtesgaden salt mine there are another two and a half kilometres. Another highlight for all those who like it idyllically is Hintersee, ten kilometres away, and the equally worth seeing cities of Bad Reichenhall and Salzburg are 20 and 25 kilometres respectively.

If you are travelling by car, take the A8 motorway to the Bad Reichenhall exit and from there take the B20 in the direction of Berchtesgaden and continue towards Schönau. The distance to the motorway is about 25 kilometres. The nearest train station is in Berchtesgaden. We will be happy to pick you up there on request.
