Welcome to Mooshof, an organic farm in the middle of the Black Forest with many animals and our own cheese dairy! Beautiful, cosy holiday apartments, a pleasant atmosphere, family-friendly equipment and our sunny location guarantee a carefree and relaxing holiday. Our farm is also ideal for hiking in the beautiful Black Forest landscape. Since 1989, our farm has been consistently managed organically according to Bioland guidelines. Here live cows and mostly also a bull, several cattle and calves as well as pigs, chickens, cats, dwarf goats and rabbits and have here a home, which we arrange according to their respective needs. In our own cheese dairy the good Mooshof cheese and other dairy products are produced. We cultivate almost twenty hectares of meadows and pastures and about thirty hectares of forest. Enjoy your holiday in one of our apartments, which are each equipped with a comfortable and comfortable kitchen, two separate bedrooms, shower and toilet as well as a private balcony. In the yard there is a lawn with garden grill, campfire, sitting areas, a playground with giant trampoline and table tennis, a play barn for bad weather and of course pure country life. If you feel like it, you can join us at our daily work: feeding calves, milking cows, bringing animals to the pasture, feeding pigs, supplying chickens and rabbits with grass or you can watch the cheese being made and of course also take advantage of the opportunity to enjoy the fresh organic food. With us at Mooshof everyone will find individual possibilities to relax. On arrival you will receive a KONUS-guest card from us with which you can use the local public transport in the Black Forest free of charge.

On our organic farm you can experience every day how life as a real organic farmer looks like and you can also work hard on your own and prove yourself as a young farmer. Apart from that, the Black Forest offers the ideal landscape for extensive hikes with beautiful views and traditional rest stops or for exciting mountain bike tours. In the immediate vicinity there are both open-air and indoor swimming pools, a swimming lake as well as thermal baths and wellness facilities. Tennis, horse riding, squash or winter sports are also possible in the region. Various museums on a wide variety of topics ensure that your stay will be informative. Other excursion destinations include the Triberg waterfalls, the old towns of Villingen, Strasbourg and Freiburg, the half-timbered town of Schiltach, the Europa-Park in Rust, Hohenzollern Castle, Lake Constance with the island of Mainau, the Affenberg Salem, the Dorotheenhütte glassblowing factory and the Wenzel mine in Wolfach.

The A81 motorway runs east of Mooshof, the A5 west. From the A81 you can reach the Hof from the south via the exit Villingen-Schwenningen (about 30 km away) and from the north via the exit Rottweil (about 26 km away). If you are coming from the A5, take the Offenburg exit, from there it is about 60 kilometres to our farm. The nearest train station is in St. Georgen, eight kilometres away. From the train station there is a regular bus service that will take you to the Tennenbronn stop at Schneider, just under a quarter of an hour's drive away from the farm.
