A short walk, cycle or drive brings you to the award winning village of Terryglass, winner of Irelands Best Kept Village in 2016 and access to Lough Derg on the River Shannon. Together we have created our cottages to be warm and welcoming, restful and tasteful, yet providing all you need for a relaxing and entertaining break. We value the traditional rural landscape and we strive to ensure that our farm remains a patchwork of fields with havens for wildlife and diversity. We will provide you with seasonal produce from our garden and our happy hens are renowned for their tasty eggs! We respect your privacy, yet we are still nearby should you need us. Our holiday cottages are cosy retreats from a busy world where you can both relax and unwind in comfort. These cottages are also useful if you are planning a family holiday and wish to bring your friends or parents to share in the experience. This way you can all be together when you wish but you have the freedom of having your own space when you need it. Our two bedroom cottages here at Fuchsia Lane Farm are designed to provide a perfect home for you and your family. Our Stables and Limekiln cottages are located adjacent to our play area and sauna and offer a great, safe space for younger children to play and meet others (including our own family, not forgetting Holly, our friendly lab as well as the cats, ponies and whatever other animals that are on the farm!)

Locally, the Lough Derg area has lovely villages with great pubs, cafes and food producers. A tour around the lake will bring you to cheese-makers, artists, heritage sites, artisan food producers and more. Our local village has two award winning pubs with music, food and most importantly, warm welcomes for you, our guest. There are many family activities in the area including: walking routes, cycling routes, lake activities, fishing, riding, paint balling.

Located just 1 hours drive from Fuchsia Lane Farm, Shannon International airport offers daily flights to and from several North American and European destinations. Dublin airport, the country’s largest airport is 2 hours from Terryglass and is serviced by train, bus and motorway. Fuchsia Lane Farm is also easily accessible from Cork and Kerry airports; to drive from Dublin or the South-west take the N7/M7, or take the train to Nenagh, the gateway to the region.
