How about a round trip through the lake district of Malentes? You shouldn't miss the 5-lake tour (our tip: take small culinary breaks and hikes in between). The lookout tower on the Holzberg, high above the tree tops, guarantees you a fantastic view of the region. And if you are looking for that special experience, don't miss the lively medieval museum on the Lütjensee tower hill castle. In addition, the Baltic Sea is only 20 km away, so nothing stands in the way of a trip to the beach!

In the immediate vicinity you will find for example the farm Radlandsichten with a farm shop and a sweet farm café with relaxed guests. Delicious regional cuisine can be found directly at the neighbor, the restaurant Kasch, which can even be reached by canoe or rowing boat across the lake. If you fancy excellent Italian cuisine and good wine, we also recommend the restaurant La Grotta in the arcades south of the station in Malente (1.5 km away). You can reach Lübeck or Kiel within 30 minutes by train.
